Setting your email signature on Microsoft Outlook (web/app)


To apply this signature on the web please follow these steps:
  1. On Outlook on the web, there will be a settings cog in the top-right of your screen.
  2. In the search box, type 'Signature', and you will see the option to select 'Email Signature'. If not, the path is Settings>Mail>Compose and reply.
  3. Create a new signature by clicking '+New Signature'.
  4. Enter the new signature name you want to call it and then open up the Word document attached.
  5. Enter the contents of the signature into the signature box on Outlook on the web.
  6. Once the signature has been completed, ensure you set the default signatures for the 'For New Messages:' & 'For Replies/Forwards:' as the signature you have just created.

To apply this signature on the Outlook desktop application please follow these steps:
  1. On the desktop application for Outlook, click 'File' in the top left.
  2. Click on the 'Options' button on the bottom left of the menu.
  3. Click the 'Mail' menu button on the pop-up menu.
  4. Navigate down to where the 'Signatures' button is and select it.
  5. Ensure the email selected at the top of the pop-up menu is your works email.
  6. Click the 'New' button to create your new signature.
  7. Enter the contents of your signature into the signature editor.
  8. Click the 'Save' button on the bottom left of the signature editor to save your changes.
  9. Lastly, at the bottom of the pop-up menu, you'll be able to set the 'new messages' & 'replies/forwards' to your newly created signature.
  10. Click Okay to apply all changes.
